Actress, Dancer, Musician & Producer

Monique Nicole Gibbons
Born and raised in Westfield, Massachusetts, in a big animal-loving family, Monique is a nurturer of all living things. While studying at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in Manhattan, she became known for her habit of smiling and waving at every dog she passed on the street.
Monique splits her time between New England, New York, and Atlanta, where she has pursued her passion for film and storytelling alongside meaningful advocacy work. She previously worked at her local Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence center, educating middle schools, high schools, and college campuses on often-stigmatized topics. In March 2023, she brought that work to Washington D.C., meeting with the Massachusetts House of Representatives and Senator Elizabeth Warren’s office to speak on the importance of mental health education and survivor support. She continues to create art with the hope of providing healing and empowerment to others.
Dancing since age two, Monique has always used art as a form of expression. In middle school, she discovered music—first through piano and guitar, later adding voice to form her own musical trio. Her music tells stories of perseverance and resilience, underscoring the strength in overcoming life’s challenges. During the mental health struggles of high school, it was film that made her feel alive again. Movies became her escape, her mirror, and her safe space.
Today, Monique creates art in hopes of offering that same space to others—to anyone who feels alone or silenced. Through performance, music, and advocacy, she seeks to remind people that their voices matter.
“We all have a purpose in our short time on Earth. I know God has entrusted me with telling stories that resonate. Art is an outlet not only for the artist, but also for the viewer. I hope my work can be that outlet—for someone else, the way movies and music once were for me.”
